Day 11: Supporting Details

Today we talked about the difference between facts and opinions and using supporting details in your essays. Remember that A fact is something that can be proven true or false, and that opinions often discuss value judgments or how things should be. There are many ways you can prove your facts or give support to your opinion: examples, quotes, statistics, comparison, advantages and disadvantages, etc.
