Day 19: Logical Fallacies

A logical fallacy is a flawed, unreasonable argument. According to the Hacker text, many logical fallacies are based on legitimate argumentative techniques but are used incorrectly or dishonestly. Examples of logical fallacies are hasty generalizations, false analogies, post hoc fallacy, "either...or" fallacy, missing claims, etc.

Read pages 371-380 in the Hacker Text to get more information on logical fallacies. Remember to finish reading and taking critical notes on the articles (link) before Friday. We will be practicing with writing critiques.
