A “critique” is not primarily a summary though it involves summary in it. A critique rather analyses, comments on and evaluates the work.
Your critique should show that you can recognize arguments and engage in critical thinking about the content of the article. Keep questions like these in mind as you read, make notes, and then write the critique.
We will talk more on Monday about the format and organization of a critique so you can start working on your individual critique essays.
